My wife wants to know the meaning of the site name. Do you mean the first four gradating classes? School opened in '64 so she's confused and will make my life a living hell unless I get an answer.

My answer is:

Yes - I meant the first four years that classes left Gateway as graduating seniors - I know that at least one set of students left Gateway in the spring of 1965 - going off to Woodbury for most districts - Wenonah students somehow had a choice of Woodbury or Pitman. Those students left (I think) having only completed the ninth grade at Gateway.

Woodbury v. Pitman

I didn't realize Wenonah students in 1965 had a choice between Woodbury & Pitman. My family lore was that when my oldest brother was going to high school (Fall of 1956) he had the choice of Woodbury and Pitman and chose Pitman because that's where my father had gone and where my grandparents were still living, so he could go to their house for lunch. When my next brother was entering high school (fall of 1961), Pitman was not accepting Wenonah students, so he had to go to Woodbury. And then of course I came along and went to GRHS. So my parents lived in the same house for 30 years, but their 3 sons went to 3 different high schools.
